A decadent Macadamia Butter Inspired Cheesecake 🥮🤤

Made with our very own Smooth Macadamia nut butter, the creamy richness of our macadamia nut butter blends seamlessly with the smooth cream cheese, creating a velvety texture that melts in your mouth. Impress your dinner guests with the divine cheesecake dessert.

Ingredients:

For the Crust:

  • 1 ½ cups of crushed digestive biscuits
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup  Prime Earth Smooth Macadamia nut butter

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 24 oz (680g total) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Prime Earth Smooth Macadamia nut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch or all-purpose flour

For the Topping (Optional):

  • ½ cup crushed macadamia nuts
  • Drizzle of honey or caramel sauce

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crust:

    • Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
    • In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, melted butter, and macadamia nut butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.
    • Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, ensuring an even layer.
    • Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.
  2. Make the Filling:

    • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
    • Add in the macadamia nut butter and vanilla extract, and continue mixing until well combined.
    • Beat in the eggs one at a time, making sure each one is fully incorporated before adding the next.
    • Add sour cream and cornstarch (or flour) to stabilize the filling, and mix until smooth.
  3. Bake the Cheesecake:

    • Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust, smoothing the top.
    • Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until the center is almost set but still slightly jiggly.
    • Turn off the oven and crack the door open slightly. Let the cheesecake cool in the oven for about 1 hour to prevent cracking.
  4. Chill the Cheesecake:

    • Once the cheesecake has cooled to room temperature, transfer it to the fridge and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best texture.
